Abstract | ||
The wasp was collected on two species of Crataegus amini in Isfehan province (Zoobe-Ahan road) and C.babakhanloui in Alborz province (Chaloos,Aderan and Arangeh) in the period 2007-2008. Crataegus seeds were kept in rearing jars in the laboratory conditions (24-26 CÈ and 50-60 RH) for emergence of adults which then labeled and identified. The specimens were handed over to Dr. Delvare in France and further confirmed as Torymus varians (Walker, 1933). This is the first record of the species from Iran which is currently maintained in the arthropod museum in Research Institute of Forests and Rangelands. | ||
