Abstract
Stachys lavandulifolia Vahl  is a species belongs to Labiatae which is distributed in many parts of Iran. Aerial parts of this plant is used for medicinal purposes, like treatment of digestive disorders.
As part of screening programme on the aromatic plants of Iran, we are going to report the chemical composition of the essential oil from this plant which is named locally “shay kohi”.
