Abstract | ||
Essential oil composition of two species of lavandula which are very important from the point of therapeutic view were compared. The first one is lavandula vera L. from France and the second one is lavandula spica L. which had been brought from Europe and cultured in the National Botanical Garden of Iran about 20 years ago. This work showed us the reason of worldwide fame of Frenchspecies and also the specific role of CGC (Capillary Gas Chromatography) as a powerful method in essential oil analysis. | ||
