Abstract
جنس یونجه (Medicago L.) از نظر آرایه شناسی مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. در بین نمونه‌های مطالعه شده شامل 2500 نمونه هرباریومی و میوه 150 جمعیت تعداد 22 گونه و زیرگونه از ایران تشخیص داده شد. زیر بخش Astrocalyx از بخش Spirocarpos به عنوان زیربخش جدیدی معرفی می‌گردد. ترکیب جدیدی Medicagorigiculasubsp. sinskiae معرفی و 2 گونه و یک زیر گونه برای اولین بار از ایران گزارش می‌شود.
