| Abstract | ||
| Three sugar beet triploid hybrids were introduced as a result of a research work on bolting resistance during 1979-1990. The research program started at Dezful and followed the mass selection schema. Three triploid hybrids. Originated from tetraploid line No. 19669. Which is the pollinator of BR1 the most cultivated variety of the region were found to be superior to the check regarding the root yield, white sugar yield and lower bolting percentage. The main objective of the research being the study of bolting susceptibility of the obtained hybrids, a significant difference for this trait was observed at µ=1% level, with also a significant difference (µ=5%) of 9-10% superiority for sugar yield. | ||
