| In agricultural projects verification, in addition to technical analysis, energy analysis requirement are also important. Due to the nature of off season productions, energy consumption in greenhouse conditions are higher than fields. Therefore, energy consumption studies in agriculture to increase energy efficiency in greenhouse crops is one of the most important and any success in increasing energy efficiency in greenhouse crops can be useful. In order to evaluate the energy consumption indices in greenhouse cucumber production, this project was carried out in six southern cities of Kerman province. For this purpose, 30 questionnaires were filled out in six southern cities of Kerman province. In order to determine the energy consumption of each input, taking into account the energy intensity for each input, the total energy consumed in the greenhouse was obtained. Results indicated that, total consumed energy in greenhouse cucumber production in this region is 2057973MJ/ha, from which, about 85.1 % (1751829 MJ/ha) consumed for heating purposes. Energy ratio, net gain energy and energy productivity are calculated 0.09, -1878276MJ/ha and 0.13Kg/MJ respectively. Average yield was 239.4 ton/ha and output energy of 179697MJ/ha has been estimated. Finally, suggestions were proposed to reduce energy consumption, especially in steps where energy efficiency was low. | ||
