| Fowl adenovirus is responsible for various diseases, such as hepatitis hydropericardium syndrome (HHS), inclusion body hepatitis (IBH), and gizzard erosion. HHS, caused by fowl adenovirus serotype 4 (FAdV-4), is a highly pathogenic viral disease that affects 3 to 5-week-old chickens and causes a high mortality rate and significant economic losses. In Iran, HHS has been reported in march 2021 for the first time in a 15-day-old broiler flock. Detection of fowl adenovirus can be performed by various serological methods, including enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), virus neutralization (VN), agar gel immunodiffusion (AGI), counterimmunoelectrophoresis, fluorescent antibody techniques, and immunoperoxidase assays, as well as molecular methods such as polymerase chain reaction and real-time polymerase chain reaction. In the current study, we analyzed the level of specific antibodies against the FAdV-4 serotype in 44 blood samples of unvaccinated backyard chickens from Golestan province in northern Iran using ELISA assay. According to the ELISA results, the overall prevalence was 22.72%, and the highest was found in Saad Abad village, which had 66.66%. The results also show that the highest antibody titer was found in the Haji Balkhan group, with 1679.91, and the lowest in the Amir Abad group, with 3.22. The other titers were mostly between 100 and 300. This study is the first serological investigation of FAdV-4 in backyard chickens of Iran. While the virus can only be detected by molecular techniques such as PCR, these discoveries may offer new perspectives on the spread of the virus in the northern region of Iran and help develop innovative vaccination strategies. | ||

| بررسی شیوع سرمی آدنو ویروس 4 پرندگان با استفاده از الایزای اختصاصی در ماکیان های بومی استان گلستان، ایران: اولین مطالعه | ||

| آدنو ویروس پرندگان عامل بروز بیماری‌های محتلفی همچون سندروم هپاتیت و هیدروپریکاردیوم (HHS)، اینکلوژن بادی هپاتیت و زخم سنگدان، می‌باشد. عارضه HHS که توسط سروتیپ 4 آدنوویروس پرندگان ایجاد می‌شود یک بیماری ویروسی حاد بوده که جوجه‌ها را در سن 3 تا 5 هفتگی درگیر کرده و سبب مرگ و میر بالا و خسارات اقتصادی فراوان می‌گردد. این سندرم در ایران برای نخستین بار در ماه مارس سال 2021 در گله جوجه‌های گوشتی 15 روزه گزارش شد. شناسایی آدنو ویروس پرندگان می-تواند به کمک آزمون‌های سرم شناسی مختلف همانند الایزا، خنثی سازی ویروس، انتشار ایمنی در ژل آگار، کانترایمونوالکتروفورز، روش استفاده از آنتی بادی فلورسنت و آزمون ایمونوپروکسیداز و همچنین آزمون‌های مولکولی مانند PCR معمولی و کمی صورت بگیرد. در مطالعه‌ی حاضر سطح آنتی بادی‌های اختصاصی علیه آدنوویروس 4 پرندگان، در 44 نمونه‌ی سرم جمع اوری شده از پرندگان بومی غیرواکسینه در استان گلستان، در شمال ایران با استفاده از آزمون الایزا اندازه گیری شد. بر اساس نتایج آزمون الایزا میزان شیوع سرمی کلی برابر با 22.72% محاسبه شد که در بین استان‌های نمونه گیری شده، بالاترین میزان شیوع برابر با 66.66% در روستای سعدآباد دیده شد. نتایج همچنین نشان می‌دهند که بالاترین سطح عیار آنتی بادی (1679.91) در روستای حاجی بلخان و کمترین میزان (3.22) در گروه روستای امیرآباد دیده شد. سایر مقادیر اندازه گیری شده از سطوح آنتی‌بادی‌ها در بین 100 و 300 قرار گرفت. این مطالعه اولین ارزیابی سرولوژی آدنوویروس 4 پرندگان در بین پرندگان بومی در ایران است.اگرچه شناسایی این ویروس تنها به کمک روش‌های مولکولی همچون PCR ممکن است، یافته‌های این مطالعه ممکن است دیدگاه جدیدی را در ارتباط با گسترش ویروس در شمال ایران ارائه دهد و به توسعه استراتژی‌های نوآورانه دربحث واکسیناسیون کمک کند. | ||
