| Abstract | ||
| This experiment was conducted with the aim of measuring the pollution level of poultry slaughterhouse waste powder and fish meal and comparing the nutritional value of the most consumed livestock and poultry feed items in Mashhad and Razavi Khorasan cities with the T test. Wheat and barley seeds were taken based on random sampling in 30 regions, corn seeds were taken in 19 regions, and 30 bran samples were taken from all flour factories in Mashhad and suburbs (by census method). Crude protein, crude fat and crude fiber were tested by AOAC standard methods. In order to investigate the contamination of poultry slaughterhouse waste powder and fish powder with salmonella, culture and PCR reaction method was used and their contamination level with aflatoxin was measured. According to the results, the amount of crude protein and raw energy of corn, wheat, barley and wheat bran of Khorasan Razavi was lower compared to the tables of NRC and Canada. 38% of fish meal and 1.4% of waste meal of Khorasan Razavi slaughterhouse were contaminated with Salmonella. The average aflatoxin in slaughterhouse waste powder in this study was much lower than the maximum allowed and about 3 ppb, but in fish powder it was 15 ppb. | ||
